Qualified candidates are encouraged to join the National Neurotrauma Society (NNS). Below is pricing information on Annual Membership. Please note that Annual Membership runs for a 12 month period from the date that you join, and is subsequently due for renewal on your anniversary date.

Discounted membership rates are available for members in developing countries based on the classification of the World Bank Economies of countries (i.e. Low-income, lower-middle-income and upper-middle income economies). 1. Standard Membership - $235.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year No automatically recurring payments Standard Membership category is available for academic faculty, senior research staff, clinicians and industry partners with educational, research or clinical experience in the field of neurotrauma.

Standard Members in good standing have the right to attend meetings, serve on committees, vote, and hold office, as outlined in the NNS Bylaws.

2. Non-Student Trainee Membership - $75.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year No automatically recurring payments This category is available to postdoctoral Fellows,and residents in the field of neurotrauma, who have obtained their graduate or doctoral degree (PhD/MD/DO/PharmD) and are currently working in a postdoctoral, fellow or resident training program..

Proof of status will be required (letter of support from supervisor or mentor confirming program enrolment).

Non-student Trainee Members in good standing have the right to attend meetings, serve on committees, and vote (but cannot hold office positions), as outlined in the NNS Bylaws.

3. Student Trainee Membership – Graduate - $50.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year No automatically recurring payments
This category is available to graduate students and medical students who are (1) enrolled in a graduate program at a degree-granting institution of higher learning (PhD/Masters); or (2) are currently enrolled in medical training programs (medical school or nursing training programs).In addition, this membership category is available to (3) research staff/post-baccaleureates graduates within 5 years of receiving their undergraduate or Masters degree.

Proof of status will be required (e.g. student ID card; letter of support from supervisor or mentor confirming program enrollment or staff employment; evidence of status within 5 years of qualification).

Student Trainee Members in good standing have the right to attend meetings and serve on committees as non-voting members, but cannot hold office positions or vote, as outlined in the NNS Bylaws.

4. Student Trainee Membership – Undergraduate - $30.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year No automatically recurring payments Undergraduate Membership is available to those who are (1) enrolled in an undergraduate program at a degree-granting institution; (2) high school students or non-degree seeking interns in research labs.

Proof of status will be required (e.g. student ID card; letter of support from supervisor or mentor confirming program enrollment).

Undergraduate Members in good standing have the right to attend meetings and serve on committees as non-voting members, but cannot hold office positions or vote.

5. Associate membership - $150.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year No automatically recurring payments Associate Membership category is available for individuals within associated professions or organizations that teach, do research, provide clinical care, or are otherwise involved in the neuro trauma field and or not otherwise highlighted in any other membership category.

Associate Members have no voting privileges and shall not have the right to hold office in this society but can attend meetings and serve on committees as nonvoting members, as outlined in the NNS Bylaws.
